The Programme began with an invocation song
seeking the blessings of Lord Ganesha followed by lighting the lamp and oath
taking ceremony for I PU students. Followed by the introduction of lecturers. Later,
the Principal of the College Dr. V. Sharath, highlighted the academic(both
Board and Competitive exam) and non-academic Programs which will be conducted
throughout the AY 2019-20 in his power point presentation.
The Academic Director, Prof. K V Satyan,
addressed the gathering and spoke about the concept of the art of learning and
how to make learning easier. “College life is a bridge from the school life to
the world of work” quoted Prof. K V Satyan. Later, our secretary, Sri. Srinivas Hosamane emphasized on the qualities
which the students should acquire during the two year programme. He laid stress on effective
communication between teachers and Parents and also sought their support and
suggestions so that the best could be done for the overall development of the
students. With this entire topic creating a new perspective in our lives, a new
chapter closing in our lives, our minds more open than before.
By the end of the program, the details
of study time table, academic and non-academic activities were highlighted.
