Celebration of Investiture Ceremony 2026-27

Indian Soldiers' Courage is an Inspiration to Students. - Dr. Vinay Vitthal

Students should cultivate leadership, discipline, responsibility, and a spirit of service. The role of youth in nation-building is significant, and good leadership qualities should be developed from school itself, said Dr. Vinay Vitthal, a retired Group Captain of the Indian Air Force, fighter pilot, and strategic expert. He was the Chief Guest at the Investiture Ceremony held at Hari Vidyalaya, Bogadi.

Addressing the gathering after presenting the badges of office to the newly elected members of the Students' Council, Dr. Vinay Vitthal recalled the courage, patriotism, and spirit of sacrifice displayed by Indian soldiers during the India–China War. He said that the bravery, dedication to duty, and resilience shown by the Indian armed forces under adverse circumstances continue to serve as an inspiration to today's youth.

He urged the students to develop qualities such as discipline, leadership, punctuality and teamwork, following the example set by soldiers. He further stated that while soldiers protect the honour of the nation on the battlefield, students should strive for excellence in education and bring pride to their school, society and the nation. He encouraged them to cultivate the courage to face challenges, remain steadfast in pursuing their goals, and develop a deep sense of patriotism.

On the dais, Sri H. R. Bhagavan, Secretary, Prof K V Satyan, Academic director and Sri V. Ganesh, Principal, conveyed their best wishes to the newly elected office-bearers. The newly elected members of the Students' Council took an oath to work sincerely for the development of the school and the welfare of the students. Members of the school management, the Principal, teachers and students were present on the occasion.
