STUDENT COUNCIL ELECTION 2019-20

          The Elections for the student council of Hari Vidyalaya CBSE School for the year 2019-20 were conducted on 22nd June 2019, Saturday.
          Students from 5th std to 10th std voted. Elections were held to elect a school Pupil Leader (Boy), a School Pupil leader (Girl) both from class 10. A Deputy School Pupil leader (boy) and a Deputy School Pupil leader (girl) will be elected from class 9. Both the teaching and non teaching staff also voted.
























Celebration of Yoga Day


        International Yoga day was celebrated on Friday, 21st June 2019. More than 70,000 people gathered at Mysore Race Club premises for the same.
       Management, staff and students of Hari Vidyalaya attended the event in School premises and Mysore race club where around 230 students and 20 staff members were present. Students from classes 1 to 4 attended the event in Hari Vidyalaya campus, while students from classes 5 to 10 were present at the Mysore race club.
        Minister for Higher Education Sri G.T. Devegowda, Minister for Tourism Development Sri S.R. Mahesh and other dignitaries were present. The event was inaugurated by the chanting of the Shanthi Mantra. Yoga experts from various organisations of Mysore demonstrated various asanas, and the crowd performed along with them. Staff and students of Hari Vidyalaya were at the forefront. Our team was very vibrant and active while performing the asanas.
     Students from classes 5th to 10th of Hari Vidyalaya CBSE School attended the event. Students of Hari Vidyalaya PU college were also in full attendance.
       Sri Srinivas Hosamane, Secretary, Hari Vidyalaya, Sri Arun Kumar, Principal, Hari Vidyalaya CBSE, Dr Sharath.V, Principal, Hari Vidyalaya PU college, Smt. Poornima Sridhar, Head Mistress, Hari Vidyalaya, Smt. Lakshmi, Head Mistress, and all staff members were present.
            The event concluded with the chanting of the mantra for world peace.

Celebration of World Environmental Day (College Section)

              Our college (I & II Year) students visited Agasthya Herbal garden, JLB road, Mysuru on 06.06.2019. They were guided by Dr. Sudha M N.
        Dr. Sudha shared few tips about health and hygiene. She also stressed upon World Environment Day 2019 theme, slogan, “Beat Air Pollution”. Importance of plants and its role in bringing down the environmental issues was highlighted. Our Students enjoyed and felt wonder on knowing the herbal plants and its importance. One of the students shared, “We went to herbal Garden where we saw normal available herbal plants also the plants which are grown in northern and southern India. The “kalamegha” plant was inspired all of us which is used for the treatment of diseases of the liver and skin. Students expressed heartfelt thanks to the college and management for arranging the visit to herbal garden.
          After the visit, students participated in collage making contest in the college premises regarding Environment Day.
