             Hari Vidyalaya is an esteemed institution established by the Hosamane family in the year 2000, with a holistic vision and laudable aims to provide quality education from kindergarten to PU level.   slogan of our school is

           Our school possesses best infrastructural facilities with qualified and dedicated teachers.  We are sufficiently reaping the fruit of CCA(co-curricular Activities).As you all know we have successfully stepped into the 9th year of our journey.
We started our much awaited Academic year 2015-16 with a bang.
          The year commenced with the celebration of Environmental Day on the 5th of june many children planted saplings to commemorate the occasion.
     The very next event was the “ Investiture Ceremony” which was conducted on 11th July, with the intension to develop and inculcate leadership qualities among students.  The chief guest of this function was sri.K.M Puttu,DDPU, Mysore . The student council was formed ,  the details are as follow                 
   Rohith M  S and Kruthi S of 2nd PUC Science are the Head Boy and Head Girl of the Institution.
   Sumanth Shetty  2nd PU commerce  and Swetha Sagar  1 st PU .commerce. are the Deputy leaders
  Dhanalakshmi of 1st PU and Shamanth  2nd PU Commerce, are cultural and sports secretaries


For the school,
Sourav powar and Shriya Raghu, were selected as school Head boy and Head girl.
 Anirudh .G and Siri Sanjay of class 9, are Deputy leaders .
 Gnanesh Gowda of 10th and Yuva sankar B of 9th are sports secretaries
 Vidya sagar of 10th and Ananya V of 8th are the cultural secretaries

We have made four Houses- Blue, Green ,Yellow and Red.
Blue stands for Honesty, The house captains are Sri. Ravi Shankar and Smt.Savithri Shastry.
Green stands for Integrity , The house captains are Sri.Raghavendra Kumar and Smt.Rekha Bhat
Yellow stands for Charity, The house captains are Sri. Balachandra Bhat, and Smt. Vijaya lakshmi.
Red stands for Punctuality , The house captains are Smt. Nirmala Revanna and Smt. Roopa BR.

On this occasion we had honoured the students of PUC and 10th,  in 2014-15,who scored the highest marks in their respective Board examinations.



    National festivals evoke a feeling of love, selfless service ,sacrifice for the country in the students.  August month was considered as freedom fighter's month.  Information was given each day to the children in the assembly regarding the freedom fighters whom they have not heard of.  Our school instills the patriotic fervour in the minds of young buds by celebrating Independence day, Gandhi Jayanthi , Lal Bahadur Shastry Jayanthi, and Republic day.  Founders day was celebrated to commemorate the rememberance of the founders  who are the pillars of our institution.

                The festivals signify the country's rich culture and tradition.  Through this, students learn its importance and values.  Festivals like Gowri , Ganesha, Krishna Janmashtami, Rakshabandan, Saraswathi puja  and Deepavali were celebrated with great enthusiasm..

  Academics, cultural activities and sports together play a vital role in shaping the individual's personality.  Talent Hunt competitions recognise the hidden talent in children.  Many competitions connected with  cultural, academic, sports were conducted and students participated with zeal.  This strengthens the camaraderie and develops a healthy positive attitude among them .  Sports were conducted for teachers also.

   children's day and the prize awarding ceremony  was celebrated on November 14th with great enthusiasm.  The chief guests were the young sportsmen studying in PU ,that is Arjun A gowda, an international karate champion, and Mahendra prasad, an international wrestler.  These two youth, champions, inspired our children, and wished them to come out with flying colours in their future endeavours.  They decorated the students  with prizes and medals for their achievements in school sports and cultural events.

November month was celebrated and  the theme was Rajyothsava.  During the whole month children gave us some of the important information about to our state.
An online voting system was introduced to assess the listening skill of students regarding the information.  At the end of November month, competition was held.  Hale kannada kathasparde was also conducted
      Some of our school buds have bought laurels to our institution by participating in various interschool competitions.

       A. Our college student, Tejaswini of first PUC Science has bagged “Inspire award”, conducted by Government of  India.
       B.  Nirup Balarka Reddy of class 9th std bagged 2nd prize in elocution competitions held by Bharatiya vidyabhavan . He also entered , national level spell bee competitions.
       C.  Vidya Sagar of 10th std., got 3rd prize in MyLISA, ( Mysore librarians and Information Scientist Association) elocution competition held by Mysore university
        D.  Yuva sankar of 9th  participated in the south zone chess competitions held by CBSE board.in Hyderabad. Of the 900 students who participated from various schools,  his chess ranking was 14 and  first in karnataka. 
        E.   Ananya and Sinchana of 8th  bagged First prize in collage work in competitions held by BVB Institutions
        F..   Kamal Raj of 10thstd has the honour od  participating in 12th National “Mountain  Bike cycling” championship 2015 in Pune. cycle race,
               He also participated in the 11th State level “Mountain Bike Cycling”  chanpionship 2015 held at Bijapur, and won he Bronze medal..
             
 He also participated in Cyclathon District level tournament 2015, held at SJCE Mysore and won the gold medal.
          G.  Chandana, Aishwarya and Sahana of class 10, together secured first prize in Rangoli competitions conducted by ISKON Heritage fest ISKON, in Mysuru. They also secured second place in pushpalankara competitions.
          H  Ashmita MN of 5th std  secured a 2nd     prize     and Vidyadhara of 8th std secured consolation prize in the Bhagavadgeetha shloka competitions conducted by ISKON.
        We are proud of our management who are backing us in all our way to promote students to achieve great heights.

As a part of curriculum, students of 1st to 8th were taken on a one day trip to Shivaganga, Devarayana durga and students from 8th to PUC were taken to Goa for 3 days.They visited the kaiga power plant, Karwar beach  to gain knowledge, respect and preserve our heritage and appreciate the importance of it.

   A field trip was organised for 6th std to oriental Research Institute and Ancient History Museum.

   Our Kindergarten posies are taken often to nature ramble to refresh their minds.
   Colours day, Health week, Krishna Janmashtami, Vegetable and fruit  day, friendship day, Deepavali celebrations, display of Dolls during Navarathri, Story telling by using models. Graduation day for UKG are celebrated  every year in Bogadi and Hootagalli branches.There are many activities in which our tiny tots are involved, which help them to mould themselves.
     Fresher's day and ethnic day were also celebrated for the first PUC students.

 Every year we celebrate Hari Sourabha with great pomp and glory.  We take pride in delivering(showcasing) the best performances year after year. Hard work and practice by students, teachers and choreographers bring out the best for a successful programme. 
    We have an academic environment for teachers to hone their teaching expertise through debate ,seminarswhere students and teachers participate .

   Our school helps our teachers  to update their knowledge.
    On 27th June two teachers , smt. Roopa BR and Sri. Ravishankar, attended a work shop conducted by Mysuru West Lions Seva Niketan.
    
      On 24th November,Smt. Ramya and Smt .Sowmya attended a work shopconducted by Next education.

   We have good Laboratory facilities, We have smart classes, where ,our teachers take special interest to download relevant information and use them as  teaching aid . Our school lays emphasis on academic excellence, scientific temperment, Indian cultural, ethical and spiritual values for overall development of the students.
All these efforts and accomplishments would not have been possible without the able guidance from our management, dear Director, encouragement from our  Principal,  dedicated work of teachers and students, constant co-operation of the parents have made Hari Vidyalaya  as one of the top schools in Mysuru to face this competitive era.

Celebration of Green Day

  “Green stands for prosperity”

            We have celebrated Green Day on 29th June 2016 for Kindergarten Section. We also made the children to plant the saplings. Classrooms were decorated with green balloons, green leaves with green vegetables and fruits. Children were taught about the importance of plants and its uses and also about the identification of green color.

Celebration of Investiture Ceremony

          The Investiture Ceremony for the Students Council, for the year 2016-17 was held on 18th June 2016 at Hari Vidyalaya, Bogadi, Mysuru.
           The Chief guest was Sri. G T Deve Gowda , Hon'ble MLA, Chamundeswari Contituency, Mysuru. During his speech, the Hon'ble MLA said “The biggest gift students give to their parents is by giving respect to parents daily”.
          On this occasion, Sri G T Devegowda said that, “Home is the first school and mother is the first teacher and parents are the Gods whom we can see. So respect them and also teacher's Guidanceby teachers is very essential for overall development of the child”. He appreciated the discipline, displayed by the institution.


             Elected leaders of the student council where prefixed honours by the Chief Guest.


         Three students Sanjay of class IX , Nagendra of class IV and Lohith gowda of class VI were honoured by the Chief Guest for their achievements in National level Speed ball championship, held in Banglore, recently.
            In his speech, Director of the Institution Prof. K V Satyan said “Every individual gets an opportunity, so everyone should make the atmost of this opportunity”. He also impressed upon the students to involve themselves in co-curricular activities.
        Members of Bogadi Grama Panchyath, Mr. Jayakumar, Mr. Nagaraj, Mr. Anand, Mr. Ravi, Mr. Honnegowda were present.
               Secretary, Principal,  Teaching and Non Teaching Staff, Students, Parents were present on the occasion.























Celebration of International Yoga Day

              June 21st is celebrated as International Yoga Day. Yoga is a Physical, Mental and Spiritual practice or discipline that originated in our Motherland. Yoga is not about exercise but to discover sense of oneness with ourselves, the world and the nature. By changing our life style and creating consciousness yoga can help in well being.


             Yoga Day was celebrated in our school premises, by performing some of the Asanas under the guidance of our Yoga Teacher Smt. Geetha kumar. Our honourable Secretary Sri. H R Bhagavan, Headmistress and Staff were present.
