PU District Level Kho-Kho Tournament

Hari Vidyalaya Composite PU College, Bogadi, Mysuru organized District level boys Kho-Kho tournament on 5^th September 2019, in Hari Vidyalaya PU College ground. Vivekananda PU College, Mysuru secured the first place and Vivekananda PU College, Periyapatna secured the second place.  

The Chief Guest for the event was Mr. Anantha Rao, an aspiring para athelete from Mysuru, in his inaugural address appreciated organizing kho-kho tournament. He also said that these tournaments provide a platform to youth to explore their talent in the field of sports. He also advised students to excel in academics on par with games and sports.

These tournaments will go a long way in enhancing the popularity of this very Indian sport and open new vista for the players, said Prof. K. V. Satyan, Academic Director, Hari Vidyalaya Institution. Hari Vidyalaya PU College Principal, Dr. V. Sharath and officials from the sports Department witnessed the match. The event concluded with distributing trophy and medals to the winners.

Celebration of National Sports Day (Rohith Memorial Kho Kho Tournament-2019)

           Major Dhyanchand, the legendary hockey player of India, was born on 29th August 1905, and his birthday is celebrated as “ National sports day” all over India. Hari Vidyalaya, Bogadi, Mysore, celebrated the occasion with an Rohith Memorial Inter school Kho-Kho Tournament for CBSE and ICSE schools.
           Sri Prakash, President, Mysore District Amatur Kho-Kho association, was the Chief Guest and inaugurated the tournament. He appreciated the efforts of the Hari Vidyalaya team in organising the Kho-Kho tournament. Prof K.V. Satyan, Director, Hari Vidyalaya and National athlete Brinda .K . Gowda were the special invitees.
20 teams from various CBSE and ICSE school of Mysore district participated.
           The winners of the boys section are:- 1st Prize: Hari Vidyalaya, 2nd Prize: VVSBM Sri, 3rd Prize: Supreme Public School. Rolling Trophy: Hari Vidyalaya.
            The winners of the Girls Section are:- 1st Prize : VVSBM Sri, 2nd Prize: Hari Vidyalaya, 3rd Prize: S.V.E.I. Rolling Trophy: VVSBM Sri.
             The Rohith Memorial Inter School Tournament was organized by Hari Vidyalaya for the first time and a Rolling Trophy was awarded for the first time.
